Denim Design Module
This was my second design project of the year, this involved designing various denim garments that was suitable for my desired customer type.My customer was a quirky individual who's atheistic was a love of unusual looks with a love for bright colours.I also had to manage my designs around a chosen theme. Again the theme was chosen by me. I decided to research Japanese folk stories and incorporate patchwork into my designs as this is going to be a key trend for summer 2015. I enjoyed this project as it wasn't as restricted as the first design module as I could taylor this to my chosen theme. I have included some of my design mood boards and finished line ups below.

Cad Module
This module was one I found very challenging but extremely rewarding, I had very basic knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator so i did find this quite difficult at the start. As the sessions went on I did gain a lot more confidence and feel I produced some quirky Illustrations that fit in with my atheistic. I found illustrator fitted in better with what I was trying to achieve as it meant I could go back and change things. I've included some finished illustrations below. The first illustration was me trying out different brush strokes and incorporating fabric swatches into my ideas,The fabric I chose to incorporate in this illustration was a vintage Versace print,I thought this fit in well with the loud bold look i was going for with this illustration.
The second illustration I submitted was originally one of my final design ideas from the module Fashion communication and drawing. I took one of my favourite design ideas and added different fabric swatches to my design. Such as leather, floral print, and iridescent fabric to give more of a better idea of what the finished product may look like. This makes me want to continue to learn the ins and outs of photoshop and illustrator as it really does give a fantastic professional finish to work at a high industry standard.

MC SHICNO !!!!
Milan Fashion week seen Jeremy Scott showcase his first full collection for Moschino. Moschino has always been one of my favourite brands as they always push the boundaries and jeremy definitly did that maybe a bit too much it all just seemed a mish mash of designs and not a very cohesive collection.
However there was some winners in the collection the whole take on his capsule collection fast fashion worked well Cow print suites styled with a bag in the shape of a happy meal box. He did stay true to Franco Moschino's witty takes on the fashion industry with a faux fur jacket emblazoned with "FUR REAL"on the back. I do feel that the sponge bob pieces could have been left out of this collection and the quilted chain jackets were very Chanel, But this again could be in honour of Franco as he originally did this back in the late 80s poking fun at the brand by turning the sleek design of the Chanel Jacket into something a lot more garish and in your face. Emblazoned with thick gold trims something that can clearly be seen in Jeremy's collection. This makes me think maybe he did go back to the Moschino Routes for some of his inspiration. If one thing the collection did cause a stir and that can only be a good thing.![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbbYqaQyuPIW2M2GwILC7u1a2V_fZzJZQBe7iAHi-xlsI3LiicLWDvbJpo1yu_YOVpEGLue6LvI6VIeSriBWEz1sS7actISDOUDVQseE4mwNwEwLoAteob2cY3sWFdYbNc2rCd9iDUYQ/s1600/MOS_0229.450x675.JPG)

London Fashion Week !!!
Paris fashion week has only just begun but already we have some fantastic unique and totally outrageous collections shown. First stop London Ashish really stood out for me I haven't always been a fan of his logo heavy embellished garments, but for some reason this collection made me stop and really look at the fantastic fabric manipulation from ruffled denim to intricate shapes cuts out of neon tulle all embellished with the shiniest of sequins so instantly recognisable as Ashish
